Welcome to Bump AI: The Alpha and What Comes Next
Release 01 Alpha is the first public chapter of Bump AI. It is early, and there is plenty left to build, but the direction is clear: we want to make creating a useful application feel more direct, more dependable, and much more affordable.
This release is not a finish line. It is a working foundation that people can use, question, and help us improve.
What Bump AI is here to do
Most products begin as a sentence. You might need a client portal, an internal dashboard, a booking experience, a storefront, a portfolio, or a small tool that solves one very specific problem. Turning that sentence into working software usually means design decisions, frontend code, data planning, testing, hosting, and many rounds of revision.
Bump AI brings those steps into one conversation. Describe what you want to create and the builder turns it into a working web application. You can explore it in a live preview, ask for changes in plain language, inspect the code when you want more control, return to an earlier checkpoint, and publish the version you are ready to share.
The work goes beyond making a page look good. Bump AI helps shape the interface, responsive behavior, project structure, user flows, data needs, account experiences, permissions, and the path to launch. Some advanced backend features still need a connected service today, and making that experience feel seamless is an important part of our roadmap.
Built for people with ideas, not only people with engineering teams
Bump AI is for a founder testing a product, a freelancer delivering work for a client, a small team replacing a manual process, or anyone who wants to make a useful tool without assembling a full development team first.
You do not need to begin with technical language. A clear explanation of the people using the app, the problem it should solve, and the experience you want is enough to start. As the idea grows, you can become more precise, work directly with the code, bring teammates into a shared workspace, connect a custom domain, and prepare the app for real users.
Quality should not require the biggest bill
AI builders have made software creation faster, but speed alone is not enough. A quick result that feels generic, breaks during normal use, or becomes too expensive to improve does not move an idea very far.
Our aim is to deliver the thoughtful design and stronger implementation people expect from premium builders while keeping the cost accessible. Bump AI has a free way to start, affordable plans for individual builders and teams, and the option on paid plans to bring your own supported AI key. That gives people more control over how they build and what they spend instead of forcing every project through one costly path.
We care about the details that make an app feel intentional: clear hierarchy, useful empty states, responsive layouts, understandable navigation, secure handling of credentials, and flows that make sense from beginning to end. Better value should not mean accepting careless work.
You can review the current options on our pricing page.
First priority: Supabase and authentication
Useful apps need more than an interface. They need a dependable place for data, a secure way for people to sign in, and clear rules about what each person can access. That is why our top upcoming integration priority is Supabase together with complete login and authentication support.
Supabase can provide the shared foundation for a PostgreSQL database, user accounts, file storage, live data updates, and server logic. Our goal is to make that foundation feel like a natural part of building in Bump AI, so a creator can describe what the app should remember and who should be allowed to use it without stitching the essential pieces together alone.
Authentication means supporting the whole account experience, not only placing a login form on a page. We are planning for sign up, sign in, sign out, password recovery, email verification, social login options, secure sessions, user roles, and server side protection for private data.
There is an important distinction here. Bump AI already has secure authentication for the people who use the Bump AI platform itself. This roadmap priority is about adding complete authentication inside the applications they create, so the customers, members, or employees using those finished apps can have their own accounts and permissions.
This work comes first because payments, team workflows, customer portals, and most serious full stack products depend on trustworthy identity and stored data.

What is available and what follows
Today, Bump AI can turn a plain language idea into a working web application, show it in a live preview, refine it through conversation, expose the code for direct editing, return to earlier checkpoints, and publish it to a Bump subdomain. Paid plans add custom domains and BYOK, while shared workspaces support teams building together.
Stripe payments are also already available in Bump AI. The current integration supports the payment path for apps that need one time checkout, recurring subscriptions, and payment status updates. Bump AI subscriptions are also handled through Stripe.
For generated apps, we want to keep improving the guidance around secure secrets, server logic, customer records, webhook handling, test mode, and clear success and failure states.
After Supabase and authentication, Slack and Google Workspace are near the top of the following wave. A Bump AI app should be able to notify a team when a lead arrives, post an operational alert, or share a weekly summary in Slack. Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Gmail can support file storage, document creation, scheduling, reporting, and communication without constant copying between tools.
GitHub will support code workflows and ownership. We also expect the integration library to grow around Resend for transactional email, Twilio for messages, Notion for shared knowledge, HubSpot for customer records, and automation tools such as Zapier. Custom APIs and webhooks matter just as much because no fixed catalog can cover every business.
These upcoming connections are roadmap commitments, not a claim that every connector is available in the alpha today. We will introduce them carefully and explain what each connection can access before a builder authorizes it.
Where we are going next
Right now, we are strengthening the core web building experience. That means better planning, more consistent design, more reliable edits, clearer debugging, and a smoother path from the first prompt to a published app.
Next, we are prioritizing Supabase and complete authentication support as the foundation for full stack products. From there, we want Bump AI to handle more of the database, server logic, APIs, file storage, background work, testing, and deployment that turn a prototype into a complete product.
After that foundation, we will expand into team communication, files, productivity tools, source control, email, customer systems, automation, and custom connections. Stripe payments are already available and will continue to improve alongside this work.
In the near future, mobile development support will go beyond responsive web pages. Our goal is to help people create mobile applications with the same conversational workflow, preview experience, and ability to inspect what has been built.
Over the longer term, we want Bump AI to be a place where an idea can grow without hitting an artificial ceiling. A small experiment should be able to become a polished web product, a connected business tool, or a mobile experience without forcing its creator to start over somewhere else.
What alpha means to us
Alpha means we are inviting people into the process early. Some parts will change. Some ideas will become more ambitious as we learn what builders actually need. Reliability, security, and honest communication will matter more than pretending every problem has already been solved.
If you try Bump AI now, you are not only seeing a new product. You are helping shape the kind of builder it becomes.
This is Release 01. We are excited about what works today, honest about what still needs work, and committed to making each release more capable without losing the simplicity or affordability that started Bump AI in the first place.
