Workspaces, members & roles
Keep shared work organized and give each person the access they need.
Start with the right workspace
Choose the workspace in the dashboard sidebar before creating a project. A workspace groups projects, members, privacy settings, and billing. Switch workspaces when moving between personal and shared work.
Adding workspace members requires an active Team plan, with a maximum of five members including the owner.
Invite a teammate
Open Settings → Members in the selected workspace. Use the available invitation controls, choose the intended role, and send an invitation. The recipient accepts the invitation using their own account.
Review pending invitations and existing members from the same area. Owners and authorized administrators manage membership; the exact actions available depend on your role.
Understand the roles
| Role | Intended responsibility |
|---|---|
| Owner | Owns the workspace and manages its highest-level settings and billing. |
| Admin | Helps manage the workspace and members within the allowed permissions. |
| Editor | Builds and edits the projects they can access. |
| Viewer | Reviews the projects they can access without editing them. |
Publishing is controlled separately through the workspace’s publishing-access policy. Being able to edit does not always mean being allowed to publish.
Share a specific project
Use a project’s sharing controls when someone should only work on that project. Project collaborators are different from workspace-wide members. Review the invitation scope before sharing with a client or external reviewer.
An invitation to collaborate in the builder is also different from sending someone the published app’s URL.
Manage shared usage
Team uses a shared monthly credit allowance. Per-member credit limits help control how that allowance is used. Review usage and limits in the member and billing settings for the active workspace.
Team includes up to three concurrent agents. Coordinate larger changes with your teammates so that changes to the same app are easy to review.
Review privacy and publishing access
Workspace privacy settings include project access, invite-link controls, public preview-link controls, and the role required to publish. Set these for how your team works and review them before inviting people.
