Write better prompts
Give Bump AI the context it needs to build something useful, clear, and closer to your idea.
A useful first prompt
Describe the audience, the main task, the pages, the data, and the visual direction. Include the outcome you want when a user clicks or submits something.
Build a booking website for a photography studio. Visitors should compare three packages, view a gallery, and request an available date. Include Home, Packages, Gallery, and Booking pages. Use an editorial style with off-white backgrounds and dark text. Make it work on mobile. Start with a booking request form and tell me what needs to be connected to receive submissions.
Show the design direction
Attach images or screenshots when they explain a layout or style. Say which parts matter: spacing, colors, navigation, or a particular component. Specify your own content and branding so the result fits your app.
Make one focused improvement at a time
Once the first version exists, ask for smaller, testable changes. Explain what should stay the same as well as what needs to change.
Keep the current typography and navigation. On the booking page, replace the long form with two steps: choose a package, then enter contact details. Show a progress indicator and preserve the entered values when going back.
Be explicit about real behavior
State whether a form should send an email, a record should be saved to a database, or a payment should go through a provider. Ask which setup steps remain.
If the first version uses sample data, label it clearly. Ask to replace it with a real connection when you are ready, and test both success and failure cases.
Describe bugs with a repeatable example
Include the page, the steps, the observed result, and the expected result. Screenshots and exact error messages make the problem easier to identify.
On mobile, open the menu and select Gallery. The page changes, but the menu stays open and covers the content. Close the menu after navigation and confirm it still opens normally afterward.
